Our team collaborates with clients to achieve their asset management plan goals. Whether it’s updating and/or creating an Asset Management Plan (AMP), we lead clients through the process by transferring knowledge and providing guidance. We help them develop AMPs to reinforce and defend asset-related decisions for short, medium, and long-term planning. Importantly, the AMPs also take into consideration risks and service level expectations to ensure the decisions at the asset levels support the organizations strategic goals.
We have collaborated with Municipalities in Canada by supporting them in making informed, data driven capital and maintenance planning decisions.
We understand the unique organizational challenges that impact Asset Management within Municipalities. We have been collaborating with this sector, since we started Roth IAMS and we draw upon our broader sector knowledge as we tailor our solutions to their specific situation. We focus on guiding you towards your ideal Asset Management program. You will be supported by a team of full-time experienced professionals, including experts in all facility and infrastructure disciplines. They are here to guide you through the Asset Management Process.
Below are a wide range of services we provide to Municipalities that are looking to enhance their existing Asset Management programs to achieve an integrated capital renewal and maintenance planning program.
Our consistent and defensible data has helped our clients secure over $5 Billion in additional renewal funding.
Our team has completed over 22,000 FCAs
Our team of over 80 full-time professionals include experts in all facility and infrastructure related disciplines.
Using visual sampling techniques, Roth IAMS was able to describe, technically assess and provide opinions as to the existing condition of structural, mechanical, electrical, interior, site and building envelope systems. RMWB had an Excel based report template, which Roth IAMS helped to enhance for their future use. A separate report was also prepared for each facility.
The City of Kingston, which is located on the north shore of the convergence of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, was incorporated as a City in 1846. Over the years the City has steadily grown, and today, approximately 600,000 people call the City their home. The City manages a wide range of assets to provide the essential services to the Kingston community. Assets include administration buildings, maintenance and service buildings, community centres, etc.
Roth IAMS was awarded a two-year contract with the City of Calgary to complete condition assessments for all community associations in the City. The portfolio represents 67 community association sites (over 772,800ft2 of buildings). SLAM CAP was used to efficiently capture the information on site and generate the reports for the Community Associations.
Each year Dream, working side-by-side with the Roth IAMS team, can reconcile completed capital projects based on the actual work done. They are also able to update the 10-year Plan to include the new 10-year Plan. Dream is currently working on taking greater control of the SLAM CAP dataset and workflow starting with an integration with its financial system, JD Edwards. As with any new program, Dream continues to manage the evolution and integration of SLAM CAP into its day-to-day operations of its portfolio.
