St. Petersburg, Florida – July 28, 2025 — Roth IAMS is proud to welcome Mike Harvey to the firm as its new Strategic Asset Management Consultant. Reporting directly to President & CEO Bill Roth, Harvey will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, supporting strategic initiatives, and representing Roth IAMS in key industry markets across the United States.
A dynamic and visionary leader, Harvey brings over 30 years of progressive experience in public sector capital planning, facilities operations and management, emergency planning, and integrated asset management. Based in Iowa, he has successfully guided the construction, renovation, and operation of facilities totalling more than 4 million square feet across nearly 200 locations. His leadership has spanned multimillion-dollar capital investments, enterprise risk management programs, and performance-based strategic planning efforts.

Throughout his distinguished career, Harvey has:
- Led award-winning teams of architects, engineers, and operations staff in delivering complex capital projects across higher education and government institutions.
- Championed data-driven decision-making by implementing asset management systems, strategic dashboards, and process improvements that enhanced service quality and efficiency.
- Oversaw lifecycle planning, budget development, contract negotiations, and emergency preparedness for facilities, equipment, and IT systems worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
- Mentored cross-functional teams, facilitated inclusive stakeholder engagement, and maintained a relentless focus on communication, customer service, sustainability, transparency, and accountability.
In addition to his administrative expertise, Harvey has held senior leadership roles with the Iowa Department of Transportation and Iowa State University, where he managed diverse portfolios including capital construction, fleet services, facility operations, safety and risk programs, and employee engagement initiatives. A former two-term President of the National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA), he has also contributed thought leadership across multiple industry committees and educational forums.

Harvey holds a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis on Leadership and Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University. He is also a graduate of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Leadership Institute at Indiana University.
His appointment underscores Roth IAMS’ commitment to advancing its vision: To solve the world’s Deferred Capital Renewal and Maintenance (DCRM) backlog crisis.
