Our team at Roth IAMS recently had the privilege of working with Canoe on a comprehensive Building Condition Assessment (BCA) for their unique and evolving office complex. This project showcased our expertise in assessing a blend of old and new BCA was for Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural elements, each with distinct features and challenges.

Scope and Objectives

Canoe is in the midst of upgrading and renovating several interior architectural finishes, including:

  • Upgrading washrooms
  • Painting walls and ceilings
  • Installing new flooring

Key Deliverables and Constraints

Original Building: A charming one-story main office constructed with wood, boasting eco-friendly features like Geothermal heating and solar panels.

New Addition: A nearly completed steel structure that expands their functional space, reflecting modern design and construction techniques.
